Hours: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week, 8am - 5pm. Office-based
We are recruiting for an established international export and distribution business based in Northwood. This is a varied administration and order processing role, responsible for coordinating customer orders, liaising with suppliers, arranging deliveries and maintaining accurate records. The role also includes daily bookkeeping and invoicing, with approximately one hour per day spent on basic bookkeeping using Xero.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and managing customer orders from start to finish
- Raising and processing customer invoices using an ERP system
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and freight forwarders
- Monitoring orders and coordinating deliveries
- Managing relationships with multiple suppliers
- Resolving order, supplier and delivery queries
- Completing basic daily bookkeeping
- Maintaining accurate order, customer and financial records
- Updating internal systems and ERP platforms
- General administration, paperwork and filing
- Supporting the wider team with day-to-day operational administration
About You
We are looking for someone with strong administration experience who enjoys working in a busy and varied environment. You will ideally have:
- Previous administration or customer service experience
- Confidence dealing with customers and suppliers
- Strong IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Experience with Xero or similar accounting software would be beneficial but is not essential
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple orders and priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach
