Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Event Planner II to support Medical Affairs Meetings & Events. This contractor role is responsible for the compliant planning and execution of Advisory Boards, departmental meetings, and other HCP-facing programs.
- Lead end-to-end planning of Medical Affairs Advisory Boards and strategic meetings
- Serve as primary point of contact for HCPs regarding travel, logistics, and honoraria
- Submit and track events through internal compliance and approval systems
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts (venues, catering, AV, transportation)
- Develop and manage budgets, purchase orders, and expense reconciliation
- Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Procurement, and Medical teams
- Attend events to ensure seamless on-site execution
- Prepare internal communications and post-event reporting/metrics
- Support process improvements and provide guidance on compliant event execution
Bachelor’s degree + 4+ years in pharmaceutical or compliant event planning
Strong experience with HCP engagement, contracting, and regulatory requirements
Up to 25% international travel
