The Role
As a Safari Specialist, you will take full ownership of client enquiries, designing tailored safari journeys that reflect each client’s interests, travel style, and expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing client enquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings
- Designing exceptional, tailor-made safari itineraries
- Providing expert, honest advice based on first-hand destination knowledge
- Understanding client preferences and delivering highly personalised experiences
- Managing workloads and enquiries to consistently high service standards
- Ensuring absolute accuracy and attention to detail across all itineraries
- Delivering outstanding customer service throughout the entire booking journey
About You
You’ll combine destination expertise with a genuine passion for Africa and premium service.
Essential experience:
- First-hand safari experience in East and/or Southern Africa
- Proven experience selling South African safari itineraries
Desirable:
- Experience selling multi-country safari itineraries
- Background in luxury or tailor-made travel
You will also bring:

Working Pattern & Location
Hybrid working model: 3 days per week in the Kingston-upon-Thames office (for candidates within 1 hour). Fully remote candidates: up to 3 office days per month.
Working hours (rota-based):
- Mon–Fri: 09:00–17:30
- Mon–Fri: 10:30–19:00
Salary & Benefits
£32,000 – £38,000 base salary. Plus commission. Performance-related commission typically £7,000 – £15,000. Annual educational trips to Africa (industry-leading).
