Group Reservations Supervisor – Travel Industry

Middlesex | Office-Based | 09:00 – 17:30 | Occasional UK & Global Travel

Due to exciting business growth, we are looking for an experienced Group Reservations Supervisor to join a leading travel company based in Middlesex. This is a brand-new role within the company, giving you the chance to shape the position and make a real impact.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Managing group reservations from initial booking through to confirmation, ensuring client expectations and deadlines are met.

Building strong supplier relationships and negotiating competitive rates to maximise profitability.

Overseeing and mentoring an overseas-based team, ensuring smooth coordination and top-tier service delivery.

Collaborating closely with Sales, Operations, Contracting, and Accounts teams to maintain efficiency and accuracy.

Handling complex bookings, researching destinations, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Using the Tourplan system to monitor and update bookings, ensuring seamless record-keeping and financial tracking.

Participating in a weekend and bank holiday rota during peak travel periods.

What We’re Looking For:

-Proven experience in group reservations within a hotel or tour operator environment (B2B experience preferred).

Strong knowledge of key European travel destinations and supplier networks.

Experience with Tourplan is a distinct advantage.

Exceptional negotiation, organisational, and communication skills – both written and verbal.

-A proactive, detail-oriented, and customer-focused approach.

-The ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple bookings simultaneously.

Fluency in an additional language such as Italian, Spanish, French, or German is a plus.

– Previous experience supervising a team of six or more executives is advantageous.
