Our well known client is seeking a Trackside Coordinator to join their team.
As Trackside Coordinator, you’ll support/deliver on event logistic requirements to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
This is a fun job but requires a lot of hard work and dedication with a high level attention to detail.
For this role you must be willing to
Travel 200 days of the year between March and December.
Work long hours - up to 12hrs a day with flexibility weekends, days/nights & up to 7 days a week.
IN THIS JOB YOU WILL
- Assisting trackside team in supervising inbound and outbound operations throughout events (loading of containers, trucks and airfreight pallets, checking dims and weight of freight).
- Liaise with other departments to coordinate travel, admin and schedule services.
- Support trackside team with admin and paperwork.
- Following up and monitoring flights/trucks, from/to events.
- Face to face relationship with customers while on site at events.

YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Availability to travel to European and international events (solo travel on certain occasions) which may entail and require extended periods away.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and overtime (night shifts on occasions that require)
- Operations experience preferred but Not essential.
- Interested and passionate about events logistics with multimodal transport solutions (air, sea and road).
Knowledge of air freight import and export is preferred and will be considered an advantage.
- High level of attention to details, anything worth doing is worth doing right every single time. You stay focused and nothing gets missed.
- Willingness to learn new things every day and can quickly adapt and react when things change.
- Good communication skills. You communicate clearly and can engage and explain your thoughts and ideas.
- Proficient in MS Office, advanced Excel, Microsoft Teams and IT level. You can create advanced spreadsheet to optimize time.
- Problem solving attitude. You enjoy solving problem and finding creative solutions to difficult challenges.
- A proven ability to identify and meet customer needs in a professional and friendly manner.
You are a natural at building relationships with any level within the organization, especially with senior high people.
- Able to prioritise and perform under pressure. You thrive on working on a number of projects at any one time.
- To work as part of a small team, you are always available to assist and help a colleague to ensure the results are met.
- Excellent spoken and written English is essential for this position.
- Apart from English a knowledge of other languages, Italian, German, Spanish are desirable but not essential.
