This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and commercially focused sales professional with experience in asset finance or leasing.
Acting as a key point of contact for both intermediaries and end-users, you will combine strong relationship management skills with sound commercial judgment to structure competitive and profitable finance solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Relationship Management: Build, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with independent asset finance brokers, introducers, and referral partners. Act as a trusted point of contact to ensure a consistent pipeline of new business opportunities. Develop long-term relationships with SME and corporate clients, identifying opportunities for repeat and referral business.
- Business Development & Sales: Engage directly with prospective customers to understand their equipment and funding requirements. Present tailored asset finance and leasing solutions that meet clients' commercial objectives. Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to support growth targets.
- Deal Origination & Structuring: Assess customer requirements and structure commercially viable leasing and finance proposals. Manage opportunities throughout the full sales lifecycle, from initial enquiry through to approval, documentation, and payout. Ensure all transactions align with profitability, risk, and compliance requirements.
- Commercial Consultation: Educate brokers and customers on leasing structures, residual value considerations, and end-of-term options. Provide expert guidance on asset finance products, market developments, and funding solutions. Deliver a high standard of customer service throughout the financing journey.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with Credit, Risk, and Operations teams to facilitate efficient processing and turnaround of proposals. Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline reporting. Contribute to ongoing improvements in sales processes and customer experience initiatives.
- Asset Finance & Leasing Expertise: Proven experience within the asset finance, leasing, or wider commercial finance sector. Strong understanding of leasing structures, funding arrangements, credit processes, and relevant regulatory requirements. Knowledge of soft asset financing and associated market dynamics. Strong business acumen with the ability to understand customer needs and financial objectives. Confident engaging with SME owners, senior executives, and corporate decision-makers. Demonstrable ability to identify commercial opportunities and negotiate effectively.
- Relationship Building & Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Proven track record of developing successful relationships with brokers, introducers, and end-customers. Ability to influence key stakeholders and drive opportunities through to completion.
- Deal Management: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience assessing funding requirements and recommending suitable finance solutions. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Basic Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
