Parkside Recruitment is partnering with a well‑established and growing accountancy practice to recruit a Qualified Accountant for a unique client‑facing role. This opportunity would suit an experienced practice accountant who enjoys building relationships with business owners and discussing accounts, rather than spending their days preparing them.
You’ll be responsible for meeting clients, reviewing draft accounts prepared by a dedicated back‑office team, answering queries and providing ongoing support to a portfolio of small and medium‑sized businesses.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Meeting clients face‑to‑face, via Zoom and over the phone
- Discussing year‑end accounts and financial performance
- Acting as a trusted advisor and point of contact throughout the year
- Liaising with technical accounting teams regarding amendments and queries
- Managing relationships with a diverse portfolio of SME clients
What We’re Looking For:
- ACA, ACCA or ICAS qualified
- Approximately 10 years’ post‑qualified experience within practice
- Experience working with small and medium‑sized businesses
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- Full UK driving licence
