Our client based in Dunstable Luton is looking for a Cargo Operative Warehouse Operator FLT Counterbalance Driver to join their team on a Temporary basis. Due to Aviation Security requirements, a 5 year checkable history would need to be covered; any gaps would need to be covered with a reference. A DBS check will also be needed for this role.

Imports Exports safe warehouse facility, great working atmosphere.

Salary: Basic rate: £14.55 + shift allowance; overtime available for those interested!

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, from 08:00am to 18:00hrs with 1 hour unpaid break.

Duties:

  • FLT Driving; loading and unloading.
  • Unpack, organize, and store items in the designated areas of the warehouse.
  • Prepare and package orders accurately, following specific guidelines to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Label packages correctly and arrange for their dispatch using appropriate shipping methods.
  • Maintain inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Operate warehouse equipment to move products safely within the warehouse.
  • Perform regular checks to ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other team members to optimize workflow and achieve operational goals.
