  • Role Purpose

To lead the HR function and deliver a comprehensive HR service to the business by supporting and delivering on multiple projects encompassing all areas of the employee life cycle that drives forward the business objectives and HR strategy.

To provide fair and consistent processes for all HR related matters in accordance with employment legislation and best practice.

Working closely with the UK management team and Group HR functions to implement and execute human resource solutions to support overall strategic aims and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide generalist HR advice, coaching and support to managers and employees
  • Manage the monthly payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payments and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Lead employee relations matters including absence, performance, conduct, grievance, capability and organisational change
  • Develop, review and maintain HR policies, procedures, contracts and related documentation
  • Manage recruitment and selection activities, ensuring fair, effective and cost-efficient processes
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation, development and offboarding
  • Manage pay reviews, bonus administration and employee benefits
  • Support employee engagement, wellbeing, inclusion and development initiatives
  • Manage training and development programmes in line with business needs
  • Maintain accurate HR records and HRIS data, ensuring GDPR and data protection compliance
  • Produce regular and ad hoc HR reports and provide analysis to support business decisions
  • Lead and deliver HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Build effective relationships with managers, employees and external stakeholders
  • Provide commercially focused HR recommendations to senior management
  • Ensure HR practices remain legally compliant, fair, consistent and aligned with best practice
  • Lead and support the HR team, promoting high performance, collaboration and professional standards.
  • Knowledge & Experience
  • Proven experience in an HR Manager or senior HR generalist role.
  • Proven experience in payroll is essential.
  • Extensive employee relations experience and practical knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Experience managing recruitment across a range of levels.
  • Experience managing HR systems/databases and maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GDPR and data protection requirements.
