Are you an experienced and qualified Accounts Manager looking to take ownership of a dynamic finance function within a growing business? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to oversee financial operations and support strategic business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Manage short- and long-term cash flow to support business growth
- Oversee payment runs and manage credit control processes
- Deliver monthly management accounts, KPI reporting, variance analysis, and trend reporting to the Board
- Prepare annual statutory accounts and assist with external audits
- Submit VAT returns and manage CIS payments for subcontractors
- Handle staff payroll and month/year-end reporting
- Identify and implement process improvements for finance systems and controls
- Manage and support an Accounts Assistant, including appraisals and development
About You:
- CIMA or ACCA qualified (essential)
- Proven experience in a similar Accounts Manager role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, payroll, and CIS
- Confident in preparing and presenting financial reports
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong leadership abilities and a collaborative approach
