This is a large, complex, multi-site FMCG manufacturing business operating across the UK and growing in scale. The business has been through a period of meaningful investment and acquisition and is now entering a critical phase of consolidation, transformation and structured growth.

You will work closely with the CEO and board to build out and lead a centralised, lean and agile finance function, creating the structure, systems and process rigour that a business of this scale demands. A core focus will be driving transformation across the finance platform – rationalising ERP and reporting infrastructure, implementing best practice financial controls and establishing a centre of excellence that provides consistent, real-time insight across all sites.

Beyond the build, you will be a genuine commercial partner to the CEO and ELT – supporting margin improvement, capital allocation, M&A integration and ultimately positioning the business as an attractive acquisition by a major in the future.

You must bring a proven track record within large-scale, multi-site manufacturing or FMCG environments. This is not a steady-state role – experience driving transformation, building and centralising finance functions and operating within a high accountability environment is essential. You will be a systems and process-oriented thinker who is equally comfortable at the strategic level.
