Our well-known client is looking for a FLT Operative that has experience in cargo pallet building. This role requires you to travel approximately 228 days per year.
Job Purpose:
- Loading and unloading of trucks.
- Manual handling of equipment.
- High competence using a forklift.
- Complete time-sensitive deliveries.
- Work as part of a small team on various contracts, as required.
- Maintain admin and paperwork for both vehicle and deliveries.
- Face-to-face relationship with customers while on site at events.
Main tasks at International events:
- Loading and unloading of Airfreight and Sea Freight Containers.
- Experienced in airport pallet building, assembling and disassembling ULDs with loose cargo.
- Manual handling of equipment.
- High competence.
- Work as part of a small team on various contracts, as required.
- Checking dimensions and weight of freight.
- Face-to-face relationship with customers while on site at events.
Skills, Experience & Educational Qualifications required:
- Availability to travel to European and International events (solo travel on certain occasions) which may entail and require extended periods away.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and overtime (night shifts on occasions that require).
