Sourcing Manager

We are recruiting for an experienced Sourcing Manager to join a well-established retail/wholesale business based in Harrow.
The role will focus on sourcing and supplier management across a national own-label product range, with responsibility for cost savings, supplier performance, new product development and supply continuity.
About You
- Minimum 2 years' buying experience within retail or wholesale.
- Experience working with own-label/private-label products.
- Strong understanding of cost of goods and supplier management.
- Experience with supplier negotiations and tenders.
- Understanding of production and supply chain, including MLOR, date codes and retail waste.
- Strong analytical, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Confident using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Degree educated or equivalent relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sourcing projects and new product launches from initial sourcing through to delivery.
- Identify and deliver cost of goods savings across own-label categories.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers and manage supplier relationships.
- Run tenders and sourcing projects to deliver commercial benefits.
- Monitor supply, availability and supplier performance.
- Analyse market, category and supplier data to identify opportunities and manage risk.
- Work closely with internal teams, suppliers and distribution partners.
- Present clear recommendations and updates to stakeholders.
Harrow-based with occasional UK and European travel.
