The Technical Project Manager will play a key role in taking customer projects from initialopportunity and technical specification through to implementation,deliveryand customer sign-off.
Working closely with our Sales, Engineering, Operations, Product and Customer Service teams, you will ensure projects are clearly scoped, technically achievable, commerciallyviableand delivered on time.
A key element of the role will becustomer-facing technical support. You willregularly workalongside our Sales team in customer meetings, helping to understand technical requirements,demonstratesolutions, answer technicalquestionsand build confidence in the proposed solution.
You will therefore need to be comfortable not only managingprojects, butalso representingParksafeGroup in front of customers and helping Sales convert technically complex opportunities into successful projects.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team and take ownership of the successful delivery of technical projects, whilst also providing technical support to our Sales team throughout the customer journey.
Responsibilities and duties
- Take ownership of technical projects from initial specification through to completion.
- Develop project plans, timelines, milestones and key deliverables.
- Coordinate internal departments, suppliers, engineers and installation partners.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Identify project risks, issues and dependencies and put appropriate actions in place.
- Maintain clear project documentation and provide regular progress updates.
- Ensure projects remain within agreed scope and commercial requirements.
- Manage changes to project requirements and communicate their impact on cost, timescale and delivery.
- Coordinate customer sign-off and successful project handover.
- Work alongside the Sales team on technically complex customer opportunities.
- Attend customer meetings, presentations and site visits where technical input is required.
- Help Sales understand and qualify customer technical requirements.
- Provide technical advice and recommend appropriate solutions from the Parksafe Group product portfolio.
- Present and demonstrate products and solutions to customers.
- Answer technical questions and provide confidence around solution capability and implementation.
- Assist with technical specifications, proposals and project quotations.
- Identify additional technical opportunities, upselling and cross-selling opportunities where appropriate.
- Support the Sales team through the transition from opportunity to project delivery.
- Build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders.
- Work with Engineering and Product teams to develop solutions for complex or bespoke requirements.
- Coordinate installation schedules with internal engineers and external installation partners.
- Ensure installation teams have the correct equipment, technical information and configuration requirements.
- Manage large-scale fleet rollouts and phased deployments.
- Coordinate testing and commissioning of systems.
- Ensure installations meet agreed technical and quality standards.
- Manage issues identified during installation and ensure they are resolved efficiently.
- Coordinate final customer acceptance and project handover.
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
- Track project performance against agreed KPIs.
- Produce project status reports for management.
- Monitor project costs, timelines, installation quality and customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes.
- Develop standardised project processes, checklists and documentation.
- Conduct post-project reviews and implement lessons learned.
Qualifications and skills
- Proven experience in Technical Project Management, Project Management, Engineering, Technical Sales or a similar role.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Strong technical understanding and ability to learn new technology quickly.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
- Confident presenting technical solutions to customers.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of customer requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership.
- High attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites across the UK and occasionally Europe.
