Parts Delivery Driver
Location: Inverness
Hours: 9am – 1pm (Monday - Friday)
About the Role
We are looking for a Delivery Van Driver to join our team. You will be working within our Parts Operations based in Inverness assisting with deliveries to our customers. This role is based on a basic 20hr week working Monday - Friday, starting from 09:00am to 13:00pm.
Duties
- Check the quality and quantity of orders, check correct to paperwork
- Manually upload parcels for delivery onto van
- Make sure the vehicle is loaded safely and within the legislation
- Ensure goods are delivered or collected to/from our commercial customers safely, efficiently and on time
- Ensure security of the vehicle and goods during transit
- Complete all documentation as per company procedure
- Adhere to company procedures and policies
- Hold a full and valid UK Drivers Licence for a minimum of 3 years
- Some warehouse duties may be required
Skills & Experience Required
- Great communication skills and drive to succeed
- Reliable, helpful and courteous
- Ability to cope with a variety of customer demands and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction
- High degree of accuracy to ensure all relevant checks and paperwork are completed for each collection or delivery
- Ability to prioritise and manage time effectivelyAbility to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
- Hold a full clean driving licence
- Previous courier experience (preferable but non‑essential)
- Understanding of the local area
