Park’s Motor Group is seeking to appoint a Mechanical Engineer to join our maintenance team! Based in Lanarkshire & Ayrshire, however may be required to travel throughout the Motor Group’s dealerships in Scotland and Northern England. Transport will be provided.

Ideally the candidate would be an experienced Mechanical Engineer or alternatively a Motor Vehicle Technician who could leverage their skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment used in motor vehicle workshops.

Overview of the role:

  • Diagnose and repair garage equipment like vehicle lifts, wheel balancers, compressors and diagnostic tools
  • Perform routine service and maintenance operations on equipment to ensure their safe and efficient operation
  • Troubleshoot issues with equipment, diagnose and implement fixes
  • May involve working with computerized equipment, calibration and diagnostic tools
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent problem solving skills
  • Have a strong attention to detail
