Park's Motor Group is seeking a Parts Apprentice.
You will be based within our parts department in Hamilton.
You will provide customer advice, order required parts, components or accessories, and update computer systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with parts queries and advice in the Parts Department
- Order required parts, components or accessories and update computer systems
- Receive goods inwards and locate vehicle parts within the Parts Department (bin locations)
- Rectify orders, arrange returns, and handle customers (internal and external), by phone or in person
- Maintain stock levels through electronic systems and locate parts from stock (picking)
- Raise invoices and handle cash for parts that are sold
- Receive incoming stock and place in correct bin locations
- Identify vehicle parts or customers/orders from a wide range of vehicle parts and accessories
- Maintain an orderly stock room and locate parts from stock
- Liaise with other staff members

Qualifications / Qualities
The successful applicant will be confident, self-motivated and keen to work as part of a team.
Having an interest in working in the automotive and engineering industries, an inquisitive nature, and a desire to fix things are just as important as academic achievements.
