Park's Motor Group is seeking a driven, bright and enthusiastic individual to take up the position as full-time Group Trainer based at our head office in Hamilton.

The Group Trainer will play a critical role in developing and implementing training programs designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of our Sales and Management teams. This position requires a dynamic individual who can effectively deliver training sessions, provide ongoing coaching, and ensure that our teams are equipped with the tools and skills necessary to meet their targets and exceed customer expectations.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Group Trainer to join our team and support the ongoing development of our Sales and Management teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop training programmes for use across all franchise locations to support and develop our Sales and Management teams.
  • Create engaging and interactive training sessions that cover relevant categories such as Product Knowledge, Customer Journey, Sales Skills, Customer Understanding, System Utilisation, FCA + GDPR Compliance, Consumer Duty and Vulnerable Customers.
  • Conduct group training sessions and workshops for new and existing Sales and Management staff.
  • Utilise various training methods including presentations, online modules, interactive media and hands-on activities to enhance knowledge and increase staff satisfaction and retention.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programmes through feedback, evaluations, and performance metrics.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary adjustments to training content and delivery methods.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to Sales and Management teams to reinforce expectations and address individual development needs.
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in automotive sales and management training.
  • Maintain personal Continuous Personal Development Plan to demonstrate compliance and regulatory knowledge.
  • Work closely with the Sales Managers and other departments to ensure processes are followed in line with company objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation to ensure a clear understanding of training goals and expectations.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven experience as a Trainer or Senior Manager preferably within the automotive sales industry.
  • Strong knowledge of sales techniques, customer service, and automotive products.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to design and deliver engaging training programmes.
  • Proficiency in using various systems required to help our customers purchase their desired vehicle.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to travel as required to different locations to deliver training sessions and follow up visits.
