About Us
Founded in 1963, Civic Trees (a proud division of Glendale Countryside) pioneered the UK market in the supply, planting, and commercial relocation of large mature trees. We are seeking a versatile Administrator & Content Creator who can keep our vital office operations running smoothly while simultaneously capturing the amazing visual stories of our national projects to grow our online brand.
The Role

Key Responsibilities:
- Digital Content & Brand Creation
- Social Media Management: Manage and grow our social media channels by creating, scheduling, and publishing highly visual content that showcases our national tree projects and bespoke machinery.
- Visual Storytelling: Coordinate with our on-site team managers to gather raw photos, before and after shots, and videos from our active tree-planting and relocation sites.
- Website Management: Keep our company website fresh, accurate, and engaging by writing short project summaries, case studies, and uploading new imagery.
- Brand Voice: Maintain a consistent, professional, and engaging public image that highlights our 60+ year heritage and multi-million pound project portfolio.
- Office & Operations Administration
- HR & Onboarding Admin: Set up new employees with correct documentation and maintain updated HR files in line with company policies.
- Payroll Support: Input weekly timesheets and administer the weekly payroll, ensuring the wages sheet is free from errors and completed ahead of deadlines.
- Financial Admin: Raise and receive purchase orders, handle invoicing, and proactively chase aged debt where necessary.
- Front of House & Compliance: Provide prompt and professional reception cover for phone inquiries, maintain the staff holiday tracker, compile weekly HAV statistical reports, and organise physical and digital paperwork.
Who You Are
You are a master multitasker who is just as comfortable working with numbers and spreadsheets as you are drafting a catchy social media post.
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
- A proven track record in office administration.
- Strong IT skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail and strong numerical confidence.
- An open, friendly personality with a professional, confident telephone manner.
- Strong relationship‑building skills to collaborate easily with both office staff and field teams.
What We Offer
At Glendale Civic Trees, we look after our people. In return for your diverse skill set, you will receive:
- A competitive salary and generous annual leave.
- Access to our Employee Discount Portal (savings on travel, high street vouchers, cinema tickets, and gift cards).
- Cycle to Work scheme and Company Sick Pay.
- Genuine opportunities for career progression, training, and development.
