At Glendale, we have a new opportunity for Gritting Operatives to work throughout the Winter season from October to April. You will be joining a company that can offer valuable career opportunities and believes in investing in its people.
The Opportunity:
- Driving a company vehicle with a gritting hopper filled with rock salt to be distributed on the roads and pavements commercial sites, to prevent ice from forming.
- Your gritting rounds and the number of sites to be visited may change depending on weather conditions.
- The ability to work flexibly, on a call out basis, including working nights at short notice is essential.
The Person:
- A full drivers licence is required to drive a company vehicle.
- No previous experience is required as full training will be provided.
