Responsibilities:
- Covering the full range of machinery from tractors, gang mowers, chippers, trailers to pedestrian mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters and chainsaws.
- Proactively manage the service and repairs of our assets directly and through 3rd party providers to ensure a cost effective maintenance programme.
- Work with the operational supervisors to ensure that all routine maintenance is planned to meet the demands of the service and assets whilst reacting to unplanned maintenance requirements.
- Servicing, repairs, specifying parts and planning will be a pivotal part of the role in line with managing the company asset register.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role is ideal.
- A minimum level 2 qualification in land based service engineering or similar, or have completed a thorough apprenticeship in agriculture or horticulture machinery mechanics.
- A full driving licence is essential, preferably with trailer qualifications.
