Grounds Maintenance Operative | Edinburgh Salary: £12.81 per hour plus bonus Fixed Term Contract - Full and Part Time Positions Interview date: Interviews will be ongoing – apply as soon as possible! If so, here is the role awaiting you, undertaking grounds maintenance work, including mowing grassed areas, hedge trimming along with maintenance to shrub and flower beds. Glendale carry out grounds maintenance and landscaping for public sector and commercial clients across the whole of Scotland, with bases in Edinburgh, Falkirk and Aberdeen. What can we offer you? You should be able to adapt to different working conditions as the post is physically demanding. You will be reliable and conscientious, have a can-do attitude and willingness to learn with the ability to work on your own initiative. It would be advantageous if you have experience using a wide variety of small engine machinery such as strimmer, lawn mower, leaf blower etc but if not full training will be provided. A full driving licence and PA1 & PA6 are desirable Are you interested in gaining a qualification whilst you earn, hoping for a career pathway within the industry? If this is of interest to you we can look at an Apprenticeship in Horticulture at Oatridge Agricultural College, SVQ in Parks, Gardens and Green Spaces or Horticulture L3 for you.
