This is a highly autonomous position where you will have the opportunity to directly impact the local community by reducing downtime and improving the urban travel experience for thousands of daily users.
How to make an impact:

- Manage a regional territory to ensure all service level agreements (SLAs) are met, prioritizing urgent repairs to maintain city-wide uptime.
- Collaborate with the central technical support team to provide real-time feedback on hardware performance and local infrastructure challenges.
- Maintain accurate digital logs of all site visits, parts used, and technical resolutions via our mobile workforce management platform.
- Champion a safety-first culture by adhering to all health and safety protocols while working in public urban environments.
About you:
- You are a proactive problem-solver who enjoys the variety of working in the field rather than behind a desk.

- With a curious mindset and a collaborative spirit, you take pride in quality craftsmanship and enjoy interacting with different stakeholders across the city.
- You are driven to learn new technologies and are excited by the prospect of keeping Manchester’s mobility network moving.
Your background:
- Proven experience in a field-based technical role, such as electrical, mechanical, or hardware maintenance.
- Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
- Comfortable using digital tools and mobile applications for reporting and task management.
- A valid UK driving license and the ability to navigate the Manchester metropolitan area efficiently.
