Due to the internal promotion of our current leader, the Governors and Trustees are seeking to appoint an inspiring, ambitious, and committed Deputy Headteacher. This critical role is perfect for an experienced Assistant Headteacher ready for the next stage of leadership, or an existing Deputy Headteacher looking to make a significant impact in an exceptional school community.

Parklands High School is an oversubscribed, highly successful 11-16 academy with 1,140 students on roll. We are proud to be a founder school of the Aspirational Futures Multi Academy Trust. Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Strategic Leadership of Achievement: Lead on Progress 8 tracking, exams analysis, and school performance data.
  • Quality of Education: Oversee assessment frameworks, student tracking, and departmental development plans.
  • Behaviour & Inclusion: Act as the strategic lead for behaviour across the school, managing interventions and the inclusion unit.
  • Safeguarding: Lead the HAL team and act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
