We are looking for Relief Laundry Assistants who are dedicated to making every moment count, regardless of their qualifications or experience.
As a Laundry Assistant, you will need to be adaptable and work efficiently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with the team are essential to ensuring clean, well-maintained clothing and linens for residents, contributing to a comfortable and hygienic living environment.
The Role…
- Ensuring that all laundry is cleaned, pressed, and returned to residents in a timely manner. This role is vital in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for our residents.
- Sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing laundry such as residents\’ clothing and linens.
- Inspect items for cleanliness, maintain laundry equipment, and follow infection control procedures.
- Accurate record-keeping, responding to residents\’ requests, and adhering to safety protocols are essential.
- Work closely with staff to ensure efficient service, and duties may vary over time.
- Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping is preferred, along with attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks and operate machinery safely.
