We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment, assist with food preparation, and ensure the smooth operation of kitchen activities to meet residents\’ dietary needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing the “Cook Safe” system and adhering to food safety policies.
- Assisting with food prep such as sandwiches and salads.
- Preparing vegetables and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Reporting faults in equipment and kitchen facilities.
- Stock rotation and food storage management.
- Attending mandatory training in relevant health and safety topics.
