We are looking for Care Assistants who are dedicated to making every moment count, regardless of their qualifications or experience. As a Care Assistant, you will need to be willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment as well as have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of our team.
The Role
- To support the care, protection, and wellbeing of all residents, by treating them with respect and dignity, assisting with their protection and promoting their independence.
- Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower our residents to achieve their personal goals and aspirations.
- Respect each individual’s uniqueness and support them in making informed choices to live the life they desire, in accordance with their person-centred care plans.
- Promote the health and wellbeing of residents, ensuring that their physical, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs are met inclusively. This includes facilitating social, educational, and recreational activities such as visits with family and friends, walks, and other activities of their choice.
- Ensure the health and safety of all individuals in your care, maintain stock and equipment, and adhere to Parkland’s policies and procedures.
