Duration: Maternity Cover

Schedule: Nights (rotational basis that includes weekends)

Hourly Rate: £24.00

We are looking for a Relief Registered Night Nurse who is dedicated to making every moment count. Suitable applicants must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

Responsibilities
  • Support the care, protection, and wellbeing of all residents, treating them with respect and dignity, assisting with their protection and promoting their independence.
  • Provide quality, evidence-based nursing care to residents.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, including administering medications and assisting with NHS and GP visits.
  • Support care home staff, help with mealtimes, and act as Shift Leader when needed.
  • Maintain accurate nursing records, liaise with medical and non-medical staff, conduct physiological assessments, and provide palliative care support to residents and their families.
  • Manage nursing equipment, conduct training, and ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and adherence to the Parklands Quality Management System (Q.M.S), attend mandatory training and perform nursing audits.
Qualifications
  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Full-time availability for a maternity cover period.
  • Strong clinical skills and a passion for improving the lives of residents.
