We are looking for a Relief Registered Night Nurse who is dedicated to making every moment count. Suitable applicants must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
Responsibilities- Support the care, protection, and wellbeing of all residents, treating them with respect and dignity, assisting with their protection and promoting their independence.
- Provide quality, evidence-based nursing care to residents.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, including administering medications and assisting with NHS and GP visits.
- Support care home staff, help with mealtimes, and act as Shift Leader when needed.
- Maintain accurate nursing records, liaise with medical and non-medical staff, conduct physiological assessments, and provide palliative care support to residents and their families.
- Manage nursing equipment, conduct training, and ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
- Engage in continuous professional development and adherence to the Parklands Quality Management System (Q.M.S), attend mandatory training and perform nursing audits.
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Full-time availability for a maternity cover period.
