We are looking for a Domestic Assistant who is dedicated to making every moment count, regardless of their qualifications or experience. As a Domestic Assistant, you will need to be adaptable and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with the team are essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.
The Role
- Responsible for cleaning all areas of the care home in accordance with our cleaning schedules.
- Vacuuming, shampooing carpets, and cleaning communal areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and specialist rooms.
- Surface polishing, cleaning windows, sanitising surfaces, and refreshing rooms before new residents arrive.
- Emptying bins, cleaning vases, moving furniture for thorough cleaning, managing cleaning supplies, and reporting faulty equipment.
- Adherence to Health and Safety and Infection Control policies is essential, along with completing records and attending mandatory training and staff meetings.
