We are looking for a Relief Registered Nurse to care for residents at Parklands Care Homes.
Job Type: Relief
Schedule: Days (rotational basis includes weekends)
Hourly Rate: £22.00 - £24.00
Qualifications: Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Must have the right to work in the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Support the care, protection, and wellbeing of all residents by treating them with respect and dignity, promoting independence.
- Provide quality, evidence-based nursing care to residents.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care; administer medications and assist with NHS and GP visits.
- Support care home staff, help with mealtimes, and act as Shift Leader when needed.
- Maintain accurate nursing records, liaise with medical and non-medical staff, conduct physiological assessments, and provide palliative care support.
- Manage nursing equipment, conduct training, and ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
- Engage in continuous professional development and adhere to the Parklands Quality Management System (Q.M.S), attend mandatory training and perform nursing audits.
