Role Overview

We are looking for dedicated Relief Care Assistants who are ready to help make every moment count for our residents. The role requires willingness to learn, adaptability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Support the care, protection and wellbeing of all residents by treating them with respect and dignity, assisting with their protection and promoting independence.
• Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower residents to achieve personal goals, respecting each individual\’s uniqueness and supporting informed choices in line with person‑centred care plans.
• Promote health and wellbeing of residents, ensuring physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual needs are met; facilitate social, educational and recreational activities such as family visits, walks and other preferred activities.
• Ensure health and safety of all individuals in your care, maintain stock and equipment, and adhere to Parkland’s policies and procedures.
