We are looking for a Shift Leader who is dedicated to making every moment count. Suitable applicants must have completed their SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (including Medication Administration unit). As a Relief Shift Leader, you will need to be adaptable and able to lead effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team are essential for ensuring high standards of care.
The Role:
- To support the care, protection, and wellbeing of all residents, by treating them with respect and dignity, assisting with their protection and promoting their independence.
- Report, record, and address issues related to staff, residents, relatives, or visitors, while managing staff schedules and supporting care staff.
- Contribute to residents' care planning and reviews, administer and monitor medication, and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with physiological measurements, overseeing safety and security in the workplace, and promoting health and safety practices.
- Support residents and families during palliative care and bereavement, attend training to enhance your skills, monitor residents' nutrition, and work within Parklands' Quality Management System (Q.M.S).
- Participation in mandatory training is required.
