  • Mechanical interest/experience within the automotive industry
  • A full driving licence
  • Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic and mechanical systems
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Impeccable time management

What will your role look like?

  • Carrying out checks on vehicles to find out if repairs are necessary and how urgent they are
  • Testing vehicles to check that the repairs have been successful. Sometimes this will require a road test
  • Basic servicing and repairs to vehicles
  • Pre-Delivery Inspections
  • Carrying out annual MOTs on all vehicles older than three years (although not essential)
  • Carrying out standard servicing of vehicles
  • Updating maintenance records of vehicles
  • Working with databases of stock
