About the role
We are looking for a Senior Business Support Officer to support the Chief Finance and Operating Officer in the overall management of the function. You’ll have ownership of regular Operations Leadership Team (OLT) meetings and support our leaders in reporting to OLT, the Senior Leadership and Executive Teams, and Trustees.
A key part of the role will be support for effective and efficient governance, working closely with colleagues across Operations to optimise and support.
What you\’ll do
Support the CFOO in the overall management of the Operations directorate, including administrative support for the CFOO.
Understanding the business calendar, reporting and meeting structures and developing and maintaining excellent systems to ensure the Operations team meet and support all organisational deadlines.
Develop and maintain knowledge of the charity including strategy, key projects, initiatives, clients and stakeholders.
Support the CFOO in the preparation of formal papers for SLT and ELT meetings, and for trustee board and subcommittee meetings.
Overseeing the collection and reporting of departmental performance indicators.

Experience of providing senior stakeholder support to an excellent standard
Proven experience of liaising at a senior level, working across teams
A track record of writing documents for senior stakeholders in various formats. Experience of taking formal minutes is desirable
Proactive approach, with the ability to prioritise own workload with minimal supervision, with a team approach
Ability to provide timely and accurate briefings to senior leaders to maximise their efficiency
