We are the charity that supports every Parkinson's journey, every step of the way. We don’t wait for change, we make it happen. We’ve supported hundreds of thousands of people and have made encouraging strides in our research, but we recognise there is still a great deal more to accomplish in our mission to stop Parkinson’s.
As we move into the next phase of our strategy, it is an exciting time for the charity. We’re ready to define an ambitious “North Star” to guide our future work and sharpen our research focus. Alongside these plans, we are now seeking our next Chair who shares our ambitious vision and can bring the skills and experience to help us be bolder and partner with Caroline Rassell, our CEO, to drive significant breakthroughs and maximise our impact.
This is a pivotal moment for Parkinson’s UK and we are looking for a Chair who will be bold and change driven. We need a values-led leader who combines strong governance expertise with the ambition to help the charity grow in scale, influence and impact.
We seek an experienced strategic senior leader who brings commercial acumen and mindset, with a track record of contributing to or leading significant organisational growth or transformation, ideally within a sizeable and complex organisation. To deliver on our ambition, the charity will likely need to grow in capability, in funding, and in influence. Growth is not about size for its own sake; it is about building the strength required to be relentless.
With focus, clarity and courage, we can move from supporting people to reshaping the future of Parkinson’s entirely. If you are passionate about our mission, please click on the apply button to find out more about this opportunity.
