GHI Renewablesan RSK Group company are recruiting for aRenewable Energy Heating Supervisorto join the team based inWigan, UK. This is afull-time, permanentposition.

The Ground Heat team have a wealth of experience in ground source, air source and water source heating systems. We are looking for an engineer to join our team and develop their skills in heat pump designs.

Responsibilities:

  • Combination of Heating Supervisor and Air source / Ground source Surveyor and engineers management
  • Management of inhouse engineers and sub-contractors providing service and maintenance to social housing providers on Air Source and Ground Source heat pumps
  • Technical ability to survey and design installations is preferable
  • As a Surveyor you will predominantly on the road, receiving and completing air source and ground source heating surveys electronically, accurately estimating quantities of materials needed for projects and advising installers on any issues that may arise
  • Experience of heat-loss software to produce detailed heat-loss reports and using an iPad when producing accurate floor plans and heating designs that can be easily followed by the installation teams

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Electrical qualifications advantageous
  • Flexible and adaptable to working hours and areas
  • Confident in all aspects of plumbing and Heating Systems
  • BPEC
  • City and Guilds Ordinary Craft Plumbing
  • City and Guilds Advanced Craft Plumbing
  • City and Guilds Water Distribution Main laying
  • Chlorination and Pressure Testing of water mains
  • ACS Gas safety Certificate. With all modules.
  • Unvented hot water systems.
  • Management level: Health and safety training.
  • SSSTS Training.
  • Water regulations
  • Energy efficiency (part L)
  • Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS)
  • Water Industry Approved Plumber (WIAPS)
  • Energy utility Skills Register (EUSR)
