Parkinson Lee Executive Search is working as a retained partner to Mail Metrics in its search for a Chief People Officer. Established in 2013, Mail Metrics is a Dublin-based company specialising in providing omni-channel communications to clients, particularly in regulated sectors. They also have a unique SaaS platform enabling clients to easily digitise their customer communications.
The company has experienced rapid growth through strategic acquisitions, scaling from a turnover of £1m in 2019 to £200m in 2024, with ambitious plans to reach £1bn globally. The recent acquisition of Adare SEC, its fourth and largest to date, strengthens its position in the UK market and expands its workforce to 600 employees. The business requires strong leadership to integrate its corporate cultures, drive operational efficiencies, and position the business for global success. To support this transformation, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief People Officer to lead the people agenda at an enterprise level.
The Opportunity:
As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CPO will be responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with Mail Metrics’ growth objectives. This role will play a critical part in integrating Adare SEC, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring that the people strategy drives business success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR leadership, in M&A, business integration, and organisational transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy that supports business growth and transformation.
- Lead the people integration of Mail Metrics and Adare SEC, ensuring a smooth cultural and structural merger across its six sites.
- Assess the current HR function and help it become more a strategic enabler and less reactive.
- Influence at the executive level, working closely with the CEO and leadership team to drive business alignment.
- Oversee structural changes across the group, including optimising HR team capabilities.
- Develop the existing HR teams in Ireland and the UK, fostering a high performance methodology.
- Navigate a diverse workforce, including 200 technology professionals and a mix of support and skilled and semi-skilled manufacturing staff.
- Work with and negotiate with a union.
- Manage TUPE situations.
This appointment is critical to ensuring Mail Metrics’ continued success and positioning the business for its next phase of global expansion.

Location & Reporting:
Reports directly to the CEO and collaborates closely with the C-suite and board. Based near Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, with some travel to Ireland and other company sites as required.
