The MEP Revit Technician will be responsible for producing, developing, and coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health (MEP) BIM models using Autodesk Revit.

The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary BIM team, ensuring that project models meet client requirements, BIM standards, and project deadlines.

This role requires excellent technical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate MEP Revit models from engineering design information.
  • Develop coordinated BIM models in accordance with project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
  • Create and manage Revit families where required.
  • Prepare drawings, schedules, layouts, and construction documentation from Revit models.
  • Coordinate MEP services with architectural and structural models.
  • Participate in clash detection and model coordination using Autodesk Navisworks.
  • Resolve clashes and model issues in collaboration with design teams.
  • Ensure BIM deliverables comply with ISO 19650 and company BIM standards.
  • Maintain model accuracy, data integrity, and file management procedures.
  • Support project teams throughout all design stages.
  • Attend coordination meetings when required.
  • Assist with model audits and quality assurance processes.
  • Contribute to the continual development of company BIM standards, templates, and workflows.

  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit MEP.
  • Strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health building services.
  • Experience producing coordinated BIM models.
  • Knowledge of BIM Level 2 processes and ISO 19650 standards.
  • Experience using Autodesk Navisworks Manage for clash detection.
  • Understanding of construction documentation and technical drawings.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
