Due to the expansion of the Manchester office, they have a couple of brand-new opportunities for Senior Electrical Design Engineers and Principal Electrical Design Engineers to join their MEP division.
Location: Manchester (City Centre)
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 (depending on the experience)

The purpose of the Role:
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be working across all sectors, including education, energy, healthcare, industry, manufacturing, heritage, defence, leisure, retail, hospitality, commercial and residential. You will deliver complex electrical designs on projects and produce design deliverables, including specifications, drawings, and schedules. This is not limited to managing projects but also includes supporting lower-seniority Engineers, developing client relationships, and dealing with design team members, contractors, and other involved parties. Working collaboratively with the North division, you will be joining a fun, highly engaged team who love what they do. The MEP team have a wealth of experience and will offer support, development opportunities and expert advice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Electrical Design Engineer who is striving to develop their career and professional portfolio and get wider experience and knowledge within the MEP world.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of five years of UK building services experience
- Holding a relevant degree or equivalent experience/qualifications in Electrical engineering or building services
- Chartered Member of the IETCEng accredited or working towards.
- Familiarity with Building Regulations requirements for energy conservation and low carbon technologies
- Detailed understanding of electrical design
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Amtech.
- A solid desire to communicate and work collaboratively with others.
- Confident in handling new or unfamiliar technical issues and independently generating and developing ideas.
- Comfortable discussing electrical design principles with your peers, clients, and collaborators.
- Previous experience working as an Electrical Design Engineer in the UK M&E Design consultancy or Design and Build contractor.
