Our Client is an innovative building services consultancy delivering high–performance mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) design solutions. With more than 80 years of experience, they specialise in the design of innovative mechanical, electrical and public health services. They are one of the largest independent Building Services & Sustainability Consultants in the UK, operating from 9 regional offices.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior / Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join the North Yorkshire office. The successful candidate will play an active role in all stages of projects from feasibility through to completion across several sectors, including commercial, industrial, education, health and mixed–use developments. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects and a chance to make a real difference in the built environment.
The successful candidate will be required to liaise with clients, contractors and other stakeholders and will be responsible for preparing and managing project budgets and schedules whilst ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Skills- Degree in either building services engineering or electrical engineering.
- Proficient in the use of relevant industry design software (i.e. AutoCAD, NBS, Amtech etc).
- Experience in the use of Revit would be advantageous.
- Excellent written and numerical skills along with a positive and flexible attitude.

Education, Qualifications & Training: Sufficient post–graduate experience in electrical design to work at Senior or Principal Engineer status, together with relevant experience of working within the Building Services Industry, is essential. Applicants must have the permanent right to work in the UK and be able to provide two suitable industry references.
