Our Client is the largest independent M&E Contractor in the Yorkshire region, with a turnover exceeding £75m and approximately 200 staff across 5 Group companies. They are a multi-disciplinary building services design consultancy, offering Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health, Sustainability, and 3D Revit designs across all sectors. Established in 2010 by professionals trained at leading MEP firms, they have over 100 years of experience delivering high-quality MEP Design and Build schemes in sectors such as commercial, industrial, and education. Our Client is rapidly establishing itself as a leading Building Services Consulting Engineer in Leeds.

The appointment of a Technical Services Manager will involve working closely with the Group Design Manager to ensure smooth project delivery. Key criteria include:

  • Mechanical (HVAC) bias with solid general building services knowledge, including basic electrical engineering.
  • Acting as the main contact with clients during the design process.
  • Assisting in developing the design programme and monitoring designer performance to meet deadlines.
  • Managing design activities to align with the programme and communicating scope changes to the Commercial Team.
  • Ensuring designs meet statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
  • Monitoring and reporting on design progress weekly.
  • Tracking RFI statuses and technical submittals, assisting in their preparation.
  • Meeting all deadlines to the highest standards.
  • Liaising with personnel across the Group.
