Our Client is a well-respected building services engineering consultancy delivering high-quality mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) design solutions across a range of sectors including commercial, residential, healthcare, education and industrial projects. Based in Sheffield, the business prides itself on technical excellence, collaborative working, and a practical design-led approach to all projects under their management.

The Design Team is keen to recruit an experienced MEP Revit Technician. The successful candidate will play a key role in the production and coordination of detailed MEP Revit models and drawings, supporting engineers throughout all project stages from concept to construction. The appointed Technician will work closely with HVAC and Electrical Engineers, along with other multi-disciplinary Consultants to ensure accurate, coordinated, and high-quality BIM deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and maintain detailed MEP Revit models in line with project requirements and BIM standards
  • Prepare coordinated MEP drawings including layouts, schematics, and construction information
  • Work collaboratively with mechanical, electrical and public health engineers to develop designs
  • Assist with clash detection and model coordination with other disciplines
  • Ensure models comply with project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and company standards
  • Manage drawing revisions and updates throughout project lifecycles
  • Support engineers with technical detailing and documentation
  • Participate in project meetings as required
  • Maintain organised and accurate project files and documentation

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience working as an MEP Revit Technician within a buildings environment
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP)
  • Good understanding of mechanical and electrical building services systems
  • Experience producing coordinated models and drawings for construction stages
  • Knowledge of UK building regulations and industry standards
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and good time management skills
  • Experience working to BIM Level 2 standards
  • Familiarity with Navisworks for clash detection
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD
