For over 20 years our client has been providing first class MEP design and installation solutions to the building services industry. As a traditional M&E Design and Build contractor the company has built a strong reputation within the leisure and industrial sectors for producing commercially sound projects, embracing renewable technologies and ensuring energy efficient installations are delivered to time and cost. With every building a place to work, visit or live, mechanical and electrical systems must be fit for purpose and appropriately maintained after handover. The demand for preconstruction design services continues to grow, as does the need to produce leaner greener buildings that align with NetZero strategies and decarbonisation targets. Design Services include, but not limited to: * MEP Concept and Feasibility Service * MEP Cost Analysis and Advice (Project Budgets) * DNO Applications and Load Assessments * External Lighting Planning Service (Planning Conditions) * MEP Energy and Sustainability Support * Building Regs Performance and Compliance Service * MEP Design including BIM Modelling * Renewable Energy Design and Specification Whilst many live schemes are fully designed in house, the need to outsource to trusted MEP Consultants from time to time still exists. Moving forward the aim is to keep all design inhouse and the recruitment of a Lead Mechanical HVAC Design Engineer is paramount to achieving that. The ideal candidate will be a commercially astute and seasoned HVAC Design Engineer, well versed in all aspects of heating, ventilation and air conditioning design across a wide variety of buildings and specialist environments. Applications are invited from Senior/Principal level Mechanical Building Services Engineers who can demonstrate the ability to lead projects and offer a flexible client facing service. The appointed Engineer will be expected to offer creative and technically appropriate solutions to end users, developers and contractors, gaining the trust of key customers whilst firmly outlining what’s possible and realistic. Familiarity with industry standard software would be an advantage for calcs and modelling. As the company continues to grow and facilitate career opportunities for high performing members of the team, the Lead Mechanical Engineer would be well placed for advancement
