Parkinson Gray Associates is working with an established building services engineering consultancy seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join its Manchester team. The Role
As part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will assist in the design and delivery of electrical building services systems across a range of projects. Responsibilities will include:
- Electrical design calculations, reports and technical specifications
- Designing lighting, power and associated building systems
- Coordinating with architects, structural engineers and other consultants
- Supporting project delivery from concept through to completion
- Attending client, design and coordination meetings
- Carrying out site visits, surveys and inspections
- Contributing to technical problem solving and design development
- Supporting junior team members as your experience develops
About You
You will ideally have:
- 3+ years' experience within a UK building services consultancy
- Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or similar
- Experience using Revit and electrical design software
- A sound understanding of electrical systems within buildings
- Knowledge of current regulations and industry standards
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
