The Maintenance team are looking for a Maintenance Scheduling Assistant to support the Maintenance Co-ordinator. The ideal candidate will be highly organised and can use various IT systems, including all Microsoft applications, such as Outlook and Excel. You will support the maintenance team and co-ordinator by being responsible for the maintenance of car park ANPR camera systems nationally.

The ideal candidate would have a wide range of experience to undertake a variety of administrative tasks with previous coordinating experience desirable, comfortable with dealing with live fast paced tasks. As the scheduling assistant you would have excellent organisational and communication skills, to support accountability in project delivery to meet internal and client's objectives. You will be a self-motivated individual to assist with improving delivery, while able to develop innovative solutions within the department. This is a good opportunity for someone to get into a co-ordinating role who would like to progress further in a career within the maintenance department and develop their role further.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assisting the Maintenance Co-ordinator with the day to day running of the maintenance scheduling department
  • Efficiently and profitably scheduling daily engineer workload
  • Responding and providing support via emails and phone calls
  • Booking hotels for engineers staying away
  • Liaising with subcontractors as required
  • Adhering to company KPIs and SLAs
  • Communicating with engineers and Maintenance Supervisors
  • Gathering live statistics to prepare KPIs, stats and analysis

2 days in the office and 3 at home (with flexibility where required) 2-3 hours every other Sunday to prepare and send our engineers' schedules.

Formal Qualifications & Experience Required
  • Aptitude to learn new skills
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation and communication skills
  • Strong IT and English language skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and supporting applications
