We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Finance Assistant to join our growing finance team on a permanent basis. This is a hands‑on role supporting finance operations across three countries and requires strong reconciliation skills, transactional accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. This position would suit an experienced Accounts Assistant looking to broaden their exposure, including gaining involvement in management accounts processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and allocate PCN payments across three countries
- Post debt collection payments to EUC
- Manage weekly and monthly refunds
- Perform PCN and CA bank reconciliations
- Liaise with Customer Service regarding unallocated payments
- Process employee expenses and prepaid card transactions
- Post credit card invoices to the General Ledger
- Support weekly payment runs
- Assist in customer invoicing processes
- Fixed asset creation and depreciation postings
- Purchase Ledger cover when required
- Manage Pleo mileage processing and payroll uploads
- Perform ad hoc banking duties (account top-ups, issue resolution)
- Support month‑end processes
- Assist with management accounts preparation (desirable)
Essential Experience
- 2–4+ years’ experience in a Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant role
- Strong bank reconciliation experience (multi‑account preferred)
- Experience processing high volumes of transactions
- Payment run experience
- General Ledger posting experience
- Experience handling expenses and credit cards
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience using accounting software (NAV/Dynamics desirable)
Desirable Experience
- Management accounts preparation
- Multi‑entity or multi‑country accounting experience
- Fixed asset accounting experience
- AAT qualified or studying (or equivalent experience)
- Part‑qualified ACCA/CIMA (desirable, not essential)
