The Support Manager role at Leeds and Bradford Airport is a fixed-term contract for 8 months, working Thursday to Monday from 6am until 2pm, with a pay rate of £15 per hour.
This position is essential for supporting the day-to-day operations within the airport. Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing Team Leaders and ensuring daily product key reconciliations are checked.
- Completing daily trading reports and maintaining up-to-date spreadsheets for the Contract Manager and Accounts.
- Monitoring driving and parking standards daily.
- Managing the site Health and Safety log, conducting weekly fire checks, ID checks, and risk assessments.
- Monitoring and reporting on the SLA performance of the service provided by APCOA.
- Managing and investigating damage claims or complaints in a timely manner.
- Controlling and delegating work tasks to Team Leaders while maintaining a fair system for work and breaks.
- Conducting monthly reviews and annual appraisals to enhance colleagues’ development.
- Maintaining records, mentoring, and identifying external training requirements.
- Carrying out any reasonable requests made by Management during duty.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Recent team management experience.
- Extensive customer service experience.
- Experience in people management and absence monitoring.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office.
- The ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Previous management experience.
