Parkhill is seeking to hire a Senior Electrical Professional Engineer to join our growing team. This opportunity is open to any Texas or Oklahoma Parkhill office. This role has the opportunity to support and enhance a wide range of Electrical Engineering projects, associated with commercial building design. This is a full-time, exempt position paid on a salary basis.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to develop proposals, scopes, and fees.
- Manage the demands of planning and modeling, regulatory compliance, and permitting.
- Train/mentor staff on the use of Revit, AutoCAD and more.
- Train/mentor staff on electrical building design requirements.
- Review project details to proactively manage risk.
- Evaluate observations and design systems that will withstand the elements on the installation site.
- Lead design teams in the preparation of plans, specifications, and other related bid/construction documents.
- Develop relationships with clients, staff, municipal authorities, vendors, and contractors.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- Professional engineer registration (PE) in Texas or OK.
- Preferred experience as a professional engineer for 10 years or a combination of EIT and PE for 15 years.
- Proficient in computerized design software including, but not limited to, Revit, AutoCAD, Visual Lighting, and SKM.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering practices, principles and keep up with the ever-changing industry trends.
- Detailed understanding of project engineering methods with the ability to lead project design start to finish, considering time, cost and resources.
- An effective communicator with all levels of employees.
- Possess strategic and effective delegation skills.
