RGN Nights
Fixed contract 6 months
Pay: From Β£21.90 per hour
Parkhaven Trust are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to be responsible for the night shift at James Page House on a fixed term contract for 6 months (Dec 2026), our general nursing home based in Maghull. Ideally you will be a RGN with experience of supporting/caring for people with general/complex nursing needs. You will provide varying levels of support, ensuring that the care, health and social needs of our service users are met in a way that respects the dignity of the individual. Our Registered Nurses ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, including the security of the service and to ensure the physical environment is maintained to the highest standards. The role holder will be the responsible person for the service at night in the absence of the registered manager/deputy manager. Day to day, you will carry out a variety of nursing procedures as necessary based on individual care plans, be responsible for the management of medication, provide/assist with personal care and support service users with their well-being, general health and mobility.
Skills And Experience
- Active Registered Nurse β PIN β RGN (or RMN with general nursing experience)
- Prior experience in adult social care or demonstrate knowledge of the regulatory framework
- Experience in leading a team of carers in a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience of supporting adults/older people with general/complex nursing needs
- Effective people management skills and leadership skills
- Ability to consistently deliver high standards of quality care in a nursing care setting
Shifts are operated on a 12 hour shift basis, and will be working the night shift 3 shifts per week (36 hours). Shifts are worked on a rota basis which will include some weekends.

- Nursing Care Home: 1 year (preferred)
- Qualified nursing: 3 years (required)
