Introduction
The apprentice will receive exposure to a variety of tasks across the practice whilst working across both the VAT team and the Accounts team, assisting in the preparation and delivery of a mix of services offered by the practice to clients from an array of different industries.

What You'll Do
The Accounts Apprentice will support the finance team with day-to-day tasks while developing their knowledge through on-the-job training and formal study.
Typical duties will include:
- Helping to maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
Assisting with bank reconciliations and checking transactions against statements. - Preparing and updating spreadsheets in Excel.
- Assisting with the processing of purchase invoices and sales invoices.
- Assisting with entering data into accounting software.
- Supporting the team with year-end preparations for limited company, partnerships, and sole traders.
- Handling general finance administration, such as scanning, photocopying, and responding to email queries.
To be considered for this position, Applicants must have a Level 2 AAT qualification.
